June Snow
Intro
Verse 1
Every day when I go out,
The cottonwoods dance for me.
They dance through the air
In an intricate ballet.
The birds sing the melody
As the rabbits hop in tune.
The river chimes in as well
With its rippling wonder.
Chorus
The cottonwoods dance for me!
They dance through the air.
They float lightly across my skin
Like a fine, warm snow.
Some land on the ground to rest,
And soon they decide to dance again.
Verse 2
The trees sway along softly,
Matching the hypnotic rhythm.
Nature finds its beat,
And all of mother nature chimes in.
Even the silent flowers do their part,
The sweet aroma heightens each sensation.
Bridge
I look longingly to the azure sky,
And see the clouds watching the dance too.
They have become as intoxicated as I.
Chorus
Every day when I go out,
The cottonwoods dance for me!
They dance through the air
In an intricate ballet.
The birds sing the melody,
The trees sway along softly.
Outro
I spend an hour every day watching the dance.
The June snow has passed along its passion.
I return home.
Invigorated. Intoxicated.
I look forward to tomorrow's show.
